Observation:
Inspect gas supply tube running from the gas valve to the air gas manifold, check it for good general condition and that it is free from splits or cracks.
Notes:
1.This test shows the fan removed for clarity but the test can be carried out with the fan in situ using a mirror and torch to inspect the pipe (this is the recommended method).
2. If you do have to remove the fan to inspect the gas supply tube you will need a new sealing gasket as the joint between the air/gas manifold and the heat exchanger will have been disturbed.
