Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Gain access to PCB (use Insulation Mat as required)
Disconnect pump connector (middle plug) from the PCB

Measurement:

Test 1:
Measure the resistance across the wire marked L
and the wire marked N on the disconnected connector.
Expected resistance greater than 80 Ohms for standard pumps and greater than 1MOhm for ErP pumps.
Test 2:
Measure the resistance between the wire marked L
on the disconnected connector and a suitable earth point.
Expected resistance greater than 1M Ohm.
Test 3:
Measure the resistance between the wire marked N
on the disconnected connector and a suitable earth point.
Expected resistance greater than 1M Ohm.
