RESISTANCE HARNESS GAS VALVE

Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4

Set Multimeter to Resistance

Disconnect the plug from the gas valve

Measurement:

Test 1:
Measure the resistance between Red (marked 7.1 on X11) at the PCB connector and pin 5 at the gas valve plug.
Test 2:
Measure the resistance between Blue (marked 7.2 on X11) at the PCB connector and pin 2 at the gas valve plug.
Test 3:
Measure the resistance between Orange (marked 7.3 on X11) at the PCB connector and pin 1 at the gas valve plug.
Expect continuity (zero resistance) on each test.

Note:
1. Identification numbers for the wiring connections are located on the PCB.
2. For ease of testing use the holes above the connectors on the PCB and pull gas valve plug sheathe back.
