Set Appliance State:
Gas Off
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
CH Demand
Attach pressure gauge to the inlet pressure test point
Gas On
| WARNING! - Mains voltage is expected during test follow TOPs P4 live testing procedure |
Observation:
On/Off switch ON, allow fan to run and ignition sequence to commence.
Operate the appliance in maximum output mode.
Does the pressure gauge show a constant inlet pressure of at least 16.5mb (28mb for LPG) throughout the operation?
Note:
1. When "U" gauge is removed the pressure test point should be tightened and checked for gas tightness.
2. Some boilers may be fitted with a different gas valve, the test should still be carried out on the inlet test point and the same results are expected.
Operate the appliance in maximum output mode.
Does the pressure gauge show a constant inlet pressure of at least 16.5mb (28mb for LPG) throughout the operation?
Note:

Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
