Set Appliance State:
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Set Multimeter to Resistance 
Disconnect the ignition lead from the spark generator and from the ignition electrodes
Disconnect the upper earth wire from the spark generator
Disconnect the upper earth wire from the spark generator
Measurement:
Test 1:
Measure the resistance between the red and earth wires on the ignition lead.
Resistance should be open circuit (>1M Ohm or O.L).
Test 2:
Inspect ignition lead for any signs of damage, where it may be able to short to earth.
Measure the resistance between the red and earth wires on the ignition lead.
Resistance should be open circuit (>1M Ohm or O.L).
Test 2:
Inspect ignition lead for any signs of damage, where it may be able to short to earth.
Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
