Set Appliance State:

Set Multimeter to AC Volts 
CH Demand
Gain access to electrical connections at pump
| WARNING! - Mains voltage is expected during test follow TOPs P4 live testing procedure |
Measurement:
Measure the voltage across the live (brown)
and neutral (blue) terminal at the pump.
Expect mains voltage.
Note:
Pump electrical connection designs may vary but the voltage measurement should still be carried out at the pump.

Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
