The following issue has been identified with replacement of the Isar Board GC No. H49852
Appliances Covered: Isar HE, Icos HE, Icos System HE, Evo HE, Evo HE C, Esprit HE, Mexico HE, and Istor HE
Care must be taken when changing from the older black board to the orange V9 board
Large numbers of the new boards have been returned under warranty as faulty which when tested by Ideal were found to be in working order. This has been confirmed by the Diagnostics Lab as an issue with the jumpers being located incorrectly. Care must be taken to identify the correct jumper settings.
DO NOT just swap jumper setting from the previous board
The appliance may not work correctly using the jumper locations from the existing board.
Jumper settings are dependent on the Appliance and the Secondary (Display) Board version number.
