Set Appliance State:
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
CH Demand
Check if the pump is powered at the boiler from PL (and PN, see note)
at the terminal block on the right side of the boiler
If pump is not powered from boiler select that option, otherwise continue test
Attach a temperature clamp on the flow pipe
as near as possible to the appliance (right hand pipe)
at the terminal block on the right side of the boiler
If pump is not powered from boiler select that option, otherwise continue test
Attach a temperature clamp on the flow pipe
as near as possible to the appliance (right hand pipe)

Observation:
Allow boiler to ignite and run for CH demand.
(DHW can also be used if system is still up to temperature)
Allow boiler to reach temperature. Remove demand.
Does the pump continue to run until the
flow temperature reaches approximately 70°C?
Note:
Pump may only have a wire connected to "PL"
and the neutral is taken elsewhere.

Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
