Set Multimeter to AC Volts 
CH Demand
Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Gain access to terminal strip
Gain access to terminal strip

Measurement:
Measure voltage across connection L2 and the connection marked N in main terminal block.
Note:
If external controls are powered from the boiler there should be a link between terminals L3 and L1. Refer to ADAPT for more information.
