Set Appliance State:
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Set Multimeter to Resistance 
Remove the Ignition Control Box from the Gas Valve
Measurement:
Test 1:
Measure the resistance between the two outer pins on the gas valve
Expected resistance approximately 4.2kOhms.
Test 2:
Measure the resistance between the top and middle pins on the gas valve.
Expect a resistance of 1MOhm or greater.
(O.L is acceptable because this is greater than 1MOhm)
Are the resistances measured as expected?
Measure the resistance between the two outer pins on the gas valve
Expected resistance approximately 4.2kOhms.
Test 2:
Measure the resistance between the top and middle pins on the gas valve.
Expect a resistance of 1MOhm or greater.
(O.L is acceptable because this is greater than 1MOhm)
Are the resistances measured as expected?
Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
