Set Appliance State:
Gas Off
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Set Multimeter to DC Volts 
CH Demand
Remove the Ignition Control Box from the Gas Valve
Secure it to the front of the appliance with a suitable tape as shown
(DO NOT hold the ignition control box while performing the test)
Secure it to the front of the appliance with a suitable tape as shown
(DO NOT hold the ignition control box while performing the test)

Measurement:
Reset lockout as necessary.
(Click here if lockout will not reset)
Allow the fan to run and measure the voltage between the two outer pins at the Ignition Control Box during the sparking stage of the ignition cycle.
Expect approximately 230vdc.
Is the voltage measured as expected?
Note:
If you do not have suitable tape to secure the Ignition Control Box or are not comfortable with carrying out this test then click here.
