RESISTANCE SAFETY CIRCUIT

Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4

Set Multimeter to Resistance

Disconnect connector from ST9 on the PCB
If available use the Worcester test PCB to assist resistance test

Measurement:

Measure resistance across pins 5 & 6 (orange) of the disconnected connector ST9.
Expected resistance closed circuit (zero resistance).
Inspect the flue stat for any signs of corrosion.

Harness lead colours may differ, however the test points will remain the same.

Note:
Ensure a good connection is made and that probes do not touch during test as this will give an incorrect reading
