Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Observation:
Remove the Spark Electrode and visually check it and it's Lead for signs of damage.
Check the Spark Electrode alignment and gap.
Note:
Appliances from serial No. 1699 onwards will have single probe electrodes and fixed electrode leads the spark gap for these is 23+/- 1mm from the burner.
Appliances with serial No prior to 1699 will have double probe spark electrodes with detachable leads the spark gap for these is 23 +/- 1mm from the burner and +/-1mm between the probes.
