Set Appliance State:
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
CH Demand
Attach temperature clamp to boiler flow pipe
Attach a pressure gauge to the burner pressure test point
Turn temperature control knob to MAX (see note 1)
Attach a pressure gauge to the burner pressure test point
Turn temperature control knob to MAX (see note 1)
| WARNING! - Mains voltage is expected during test follow TOPs P4 live testing procedure |
Observation:
Allow burner to ignite and establish.
Monitor appliance flow temperature and burner pressure, does the burner pressure switch to minimum rate when the flow temperature reaches 55-70°C, then shut down completely at approximately 80°C?
Notes:
1. To turn the control knob above 5 (approx. 65°C) it is necessary to turn the blue Energy Saving System (ESS) screw on the knob clockwise. The knob is now free to turn to the MAX position (approx. 80°C).
2. You may wish to turn off some radiators to reduce time taken for this test.
