Before ordering a PCB / Circuit Board for an appliance

Have you followed all the tests in                correctly?
XSol is designed to diagnose every function of every component and does this by defining test SCENARIOS and setting a known appliance STATE.
Therefore if any test has been skipped or guessed the diagnosis will be incorrect and will often
default to the PCB/circuit board.
It is important that you ensure that you have carried out all tests correctly following the instructions given on the test page.

If you have used the Sequence Options for quick XSol diagnosis
have you selected the correct point in the model?

Check any jumpers or potentiometers are in the correct position and any software settings are made following the instructions.

Are all leads firmly connected to the correct terminals.

Check any PCB fuses.

Are there any obvious reasons the PCB has failed?
e.g. Water leaks inside the appliance.
Damaged harness.
Other components failures such as Fan or Gas Valve.

Ensure any issues have been rectified before fitting a new PCB.

If you find any XSol diagnoses that can be improved or enhanced then please contact us.
