Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Disconnect the 5-pin connector from the pcb

Measurement:

Measure for resistance across the black lead (normally closed) and the white lead (common) of the disconnected connector.
Expected resistance short circuit.
Note.
Ensure a good connection is made or misdiagnosis will occur.
