Set Appliance State:
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
CH Demand
Gain access to PCB (use insulation mat as necessary)
Mains reset switch On
Mains reset switch On
| WARNING! - Mains voltage is expected during test follow TOPs P4 live testing procedure |
Measurement:
Insert the probes behind the wires at the back of the connector and ensure good connection.
After approximately 6 seconds measure voltage across connection 1 (brown lead) and connection 4 (blue wire) on connector H2 on the main PCB (this is ignition attempt one).
Expected voltage greater than 70 volts DC
There will be three ignition attempts, the second 7 seconds after the first and the third 30 seconds after the second.
Note: The voltage will be greater than 70 volts DC for approximately 3 seconds while power is thrown to the spark generator. Expected voltages outside the ignition attempts to be 20-50 volts DC.
