There have been manufacturer modifications to this appliance.
The control PCB and fan control system has changed. The original appliance set up had a PCB identification of IRIS 1.0 with a DC fan control. The modified and later production appliances have a PCB identification SYMS 17.0. This PCB has an integral fan control.
There have also been modifications to the display PCB. Instead of individual display boards the new PCB is universal to the range of boilers and must be set up correctly for the appliance.
If you have the universal display board fitted

The display board DIP switches can affect the appliance temperature.
