Set Appliance State:

Set Multimeter to DC Volts 
CH Demand
CH temperature control to max
Disconnect the fan connector from the fan assembly
(place in a safe position)
ON/OFF switch ON
Disconnect the fan connector from the fan assembly
(place in a safe position)
ON/OFF switch ON

Measurement:
Measure for dc voltage across connection 17 (red) connector X20
and connection 1(black) connector X2 on the PCB.
Expected voltage approx 22vdc.
and connection 1(black) connector X2 on the PCB.
Expected voltage approx 22vdc.
Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
