Set Appliance State:

CH Demand
CH temperature control to max
ON/OFF switch ON
Remove the spark igniter cap and wedge in place below the electrode against the heat exchanger as shown
ON/OFF switch ON

Observation:
Standing clear of the boiler. Allow boiler to commence its ignition sequence.
Does sparking occur for approximately 5 seconds?
Notes:
1. Ensure the electrode cap is placed close to the heat exchanger for sparking to occur.
2. Lockout may occur after 5 attempts to ignite. If lockout occurs or the boiler is already in lockout then the reset will have to be depressed.

Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
