Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Disconnect the connector from the fan assembly

Measurement:

Measure the resistance from pin 1(black probe) of the fan connector to the other connections 2 to 4 (red probe).
Expected resistances should be as table below.

PinResistance (approx)
1 - 222.7 kohms
1 - 30.0 ohms
1 - 41 Mohm or greater
After test don't forget
Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
