Set Appliance State:

Set Multimeter to DC Volts 
Disconnect the fan connector from the fan assembly
(place in a safe position)
ON/OFF switch ON
(place in a safe position)
ON/OFF switch ON

Measurement:
Measure for dc voltage across connection 4 (grey) connector X20 and connection 1(black) Connector X2 at the PCB.
Expected voltage approx 0vdc.
Expected voltage approx 0vdc.
Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
