Set Appliance State:
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Set Multimeter to Resistance 
Disconnect black leads from the overheat thermostat
Measurement:
Measure resistance across the exposed terminals of the overheat thermostat.
Expected Reading Continuity (zero resistance).
Note:
The pipes and area surrounding the overheat thermostat are likely to be very hot, care must be taken when removing the wires from the overheat thermostat and when testing.

Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
