Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance

Measurement:

Check that the flame sense electrode is not warped, distorted or damaged in any other way.
Carry out a resistance check from the tip of the electrode to the lead connection.
Resistance should be short circuit (zero resistance).
