Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Disconnect the mains into the spark generator

Measurement:

Test 1:
Measure the resistance between the spades marked 1 and 2 on the spark generator
Resistance should be greater than 1M Ohm.
Test 2:
Measure the resistance between the spade marked 1 and on the spark generator to a suitable earth point.
Resistance should be approximately 0.9M Ohms or greater.
Test 3:
Measure the resistance between the spade marked 2 and on the spark generator to a suitable earth point.
Resistance should be greater than 1M Ohm.
