Set Appliance State:
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Set Multimeter to AC Volts 
Gain access to PCB (use Insulation Mat as required)
Remove electrical connector to spark generator and make safe
Ensure no demands
Remove electrical connector to spark generator and make safe
Ensure no demands

Measurement:
Reset appliance if required (press reset button for 2 seconds and release).
Measure for AC voltage across pin 1 (brown lead) connector X21 and a suitable earth connection.
Voltage should be 5V AC or greater.
Notes.
1. Voltage may be significantly higher than 5V.
2. Ensure a good connection is made as misdiagnosis will occur.

Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
