Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Gain access to the electric interface housing
Disconnect X10 from the PCB

Measurement:

Measure the continuity of the three wires in turn running from X10 at the PCB to the L, N and earth connections at the interface housing (refer to picture).
