Set Appliance State:
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Set Multimeter to AC Volts 
Gain access to PCB (use Insulation Mat as required)
| WARNING! - Mains voltage is expected during test follow TOPs P4 live testing procedure |
Measurement:
Locate connector X17 on the main PCB, towards the centre of left hand edge.
Check the Voltage at pin 2 (Black wire) of connector X17 while the external controls are calling for heat.
Expect mains voltage.
NOTE:
It is possible to check the external controls input using the On Board Diagnostics - d.8.
It is advisable however to also check the voltage as described above.

Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
