Set Appliance State:

Set Multimeter to Resistance 
Gain access to PCB (use insulation mat as necessary)
Measurement:
Test 1:
Measure the resistance of the grey wire from connection 18 of X20 at the PCB to the grey wire at the gas valve connector.
Test 2:
Measure the resistance of the white wire from connection 9 of X20 at the PCB to the white wire at the gas valve connector.
Expect continuity
Measure the resistance of the grey wire from connection 18 of X20 at the PCB to the grey wire at the gas valve connector.
Test 2:
Measure the resistance of the white wire from connection 9 of X20 at the PCB to the white wire at the gas valve connector.
Expect continuity
