Measurement:
With the Central heating calling for heat and the boiler fired check the differential temperature of the flow and return pipes.
The temperature of the flow pipe will depend on the temperature set on the user controls, the return pipe should be approx. 11°C lower than the flow
(if in condensing mode temperature differential may be 20/22°C).
These temperatures can be checked using the temperature clamps/probes and performance tester or by using the On Board Diagnostics
and scrolling to d.40 for the flow temperature and d.41 for the return.
